The past few years have seen the Club focus on continually improving the course and surrounding conditions. As a result the Club has received great reviews and compliments from both existing members and visitors. More recently, the Club has embarked on a couch program that will ultimately offer those that play the course a premier playing surface seen in the famous sand belt of Melbourne. The Club is open 7 Days a week and welcomes Visitors to enjoy the course and facilities. Green fee bookings are available 7 days prior, with group bookings available well in advance of the intended playing date. Visitors are welcome to play during the following times – Saturdays after 1.30pm, Sundays before 11.30am or after 1.30pm, Monday and Thursday all day, Tuesday and Wednesday before 7.30am or after 9.30am, and Fridays before 3pm or after 6pm.

The 10th hole at Berwick Montuna is rated in the top ten most difficult holes for public access courses in Australia, and with very good reason. The first thing you notice when you walk on the tee is the tight landing area…the hole is a sharp dogleg left par 4, with water hazards running down the full length of the fairway to the green…from the back markers it is 180 metres to the centre of the fairway on the dogleg…from there a shot of 160 metres will see you in the middle of the green. For those who wish to take on the corner it will require a well struck shot carrying 190 metres at the right edge or 225 metres on the left edge of the dam. To make matters worse, the adjacent 17th fairway is out of bounds from the 10th tee. Depending on your golfing prowess you may wish to take on some or all of the dam…this is a high risk, high reward hole…bite off more than you can chew and be prepared to walk away with double figures…keep your nerves in check, swing sweetly, and enjoy one of the most difficult par 4's in Australia.
