Greenaway Art Gallery opened in 1992 and from it’s inception supported emerging, mid-career, and established Australian and international artists. All exhibitions are accompanied by an illustrated catalogue, with a commissioned text.

Since 1992 the gallery has participated in more than 50 art fairs in Australia and internationally, and aims at achieving best practice at all times, encouraging collaboration with other galleries. These connections have led to us exhibiting major international artists including Santiago Sierra, Thomas Rentmeister, Juan Davila, Mat Collishaw, I-Lann Yee, Pieter Hugo, Ivan Navarro, Jin Kurashige, Hiroko Okada and Joan Morey. In 2007 we launched GAGPROJECTS, Berlin (a not-for-profit space). GAGPROJECTS/Greenaway Art Gallery Director Paul Greenaway OAM is an art theorist, and committed equally to art and education.
