Flooding In London (Rail Network Affected) 28th July 2014 - Pictures

Parts of London have been affected by severe surface flooding this morning (28th July 2014) bringing travel disruption. Heavy downpours lasting several hours have affected the South East, bringing as much as 30.4 mm of rain to some areas. Some London streets have been flooded, affecting 50 properties, and rail networks have been affected.

It has recently been reported that the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines have been closed between Uxbridge and Rayners Lane due to flooding.

The AA have warned motorists to be extra careful on the roads today, and to avoid driving through flood water.
