When you register for an account on WeatherForecast.co.uk we will collect and store your email address (Used for account login), your password (Encrypted) and your IP address (For security). We will also assign you a unique membership number. By creating an account you consent to us processing this data.
During registration, or when updating your privacy settings, you can opt in to receive occasional emails about new services, or changes to our existing services. This is strictly opt-in (Explicit consent). If you do give us consent to send you occasional emails, this consent may be withdrawn at any time.
You may delete your account at any time, and therefore revoke your consent to process your data, by visiting your Account settings and privacy options.
Registered users can create weather pages for their business. These pages may contain some data that could be considered personal data, including an email address, telephone number and physical address. By creating a page you consent to us processing this data.
During the creation of your page you can opt in to occasional emails that affect your page. This may include information on how you can improve your page, and services we provide to improve your page. his is strictly opt-in (Explicit consent). If you do give us consent to send you occasional emails, this consent may be withdrawn at any time.
You may delete your pages at any time, and therefore revoke your consent to process your data, by editing your page and visiting the 'Delete Listing' section at the bottom of the page.
When someone visits www.weatherforecast.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Our website allows visitors to use contact forms to enquire about our services. These contact forms simply send us an email with the details of your enquiry, no personal information is stored on our server. When a visitor sends us an email via our contact form, their name and email address, along with their enquiry will be sent securely to our email address. Personal data sent via our contact forms will be used only to respond to enquiries.
