Some reports are suggesting that water levels are rising at a similar pace to that seen on Christmas eve, when many homes were flooded and a multi agency rescue operation was launched. However, earlier today, Guildford, another town on the river Wey that flooded on Christmas Eve, suffered more flooding but so far much less severe than seen on Christmas eve.

Another storm expected to move over the UK on Friday, bringing further rain, will bring further risk of flooding to Godalming on Friday evening and into the weekend.
