The wonderfully rebuilt Abbey, with its courtyards and astonishing Basilica, with the grave of Saint Benedict and Scolastica, and the faboulus Museum are worth a visit.

It is still a working Abbey, so you may happen to join the peaceful prayer of the Monks in the afternoon, but this might be a good reason to leave the city chaos and drive up the hill!

Entrance is free, but guided tours, leading to the Old Area of the Abbey, and the Museum require a fee.
Large parking area and restrooms can be found by the entrance.
