It is where the humpback whales stop off to rest and play and nurture the calves in the latter part of the season. The Bay is protected by world heritage listed Fraser Island so the seas are usually calm and perfect for watching whales!
Outside of whale season Freedom III operates fishing charters for groups of 8 anglers in the waters off Fraser Island. Freedom III is also available for private functions; intimate weddings, birthday parties, hens and bucks events or Christmas parties for up to 49 guests.
Freedom III is a power catamaran, 58ft long and has 3 levels of viewing plus an hydraulic lift platform for getting up close and personal with the whales.
