Blue Wren Beach House is a fully self-contained 4-bedroom holiday home (accommodating 9 people), featuring spacious open plan living areas with a fully renovated equipped kitchen and bathroom.
Located only one street back from and above Penneshaw’s pristine swimming beach, on the preferred second level, Blue Wren Beach House is ideally suited for family vacations. Centrally located Blue Wren is only a short stroll to the beach and Penneshaw township facilities.
Expansive panoramic and uninterrupted views overlooking the beach and across the magnificent Backstairs Passage to the Australian mainland can be seen from the generous front covered deck and outdoor living area, as well as through the large windows fronting the home.
Whether it is at sunrise or sunset, you will not leave Blue Wren at the end of your stay without having seen dolphins and seals swimming past and wallabies feeding on the lawn, and you can do this from your outside living area and, if you amble on to the beach in early evening you will also see fairy penguins.
Blue Wren is ideally placed to not only enjoy Penneshaw’s family friendly facilities such as playground, skate park, tennis courts and a clean white sandy beach, it is the perfect base from which to venture out and return to after exploring Kangaroo Island’s many exciting natural attractions and native wildlife.
Take day trips to Flinders Chase National Park for the flora and fauna, to Seal Bay and Admirals Arch to see Australian and New Zealand fur seals and to Remarkable Rocks to marvel at mother natures ‘ own imposing sculptures.
Picnic visits to Vivonne Bay, Emu Bay and Stokes Bay are also recommended.
