Gisborne Peak Winery Eco-Cottages is a place where luxury, relaxation, sustainability and fine wine all come together. The four eco-cottages are set in a picturesque vineyard overlooking the vines and the lake. Each of the four cottages are self-contained and are located only 45 minutes from Melbourne, 20 minutes from the Airport and 40 minutes from Daylesford, the mineral spa and wellbeing capital of Australia.
Each cottage has its own outdoor deck overlooking the vines and the lake. All the creature comforts are there including LCD televisions, DVD player, air-conditioning, microwave oven, BBQ, books, CD's, magazines and more. Breakfast provisions for both a continental and cooked breakfast are in the cottage on arrival.
The eco-cottages are powered by the wind and sun. The cottages use sustainable, renewable energy resources. A small wind turbine captures the breeze and the solar panels capture the rays of the sun. They are surround by Australian gardens and landscaping. The result is a low-impact facility located on the doorstep to the beautiful Macedon Ranges.
Sleep in, cook breakfast or go for a walk through the vineyard. Join in seasonal vineyard activities if you wish.
The nearby winery is a short stroll away and is open seven days a week. Taste the estate grown wines, enjoy a glass of wine on the open air cellar door deck or in the Fireside Room. Wood-fired pizzas are served Fri-Sun and light lunches daily.
