A space dedicated exclusively to niche perfumery in collaboration with the world´s best perfumers. Located within ancient walls in the heart of the historic Jewish quarter of Barcelona, this perfumery offers an innovative way of smelling perfume through glass cups. The perfumery opened its space in 2013 and offers the largest collection of niche perfumery in Spain. There are currently at least 69 different collections from various countries totaling more than 600 perfumes.
Each perfume is a like a little jewel, faraway from mass consumption, a paradise for non-conformist noses seeking the seek originality and reward quality. From the perfumes of Santa Maria Novella with over 400 years of history through to the most elegant perfumes last century from Jovoy or Isabey who received the award in 1924 for the world´s best collection. For lovers of the more extreme, Etat Libre d'Orange offers perfumes that smell like a high class prostitute, semen or end of the world. Among other notable collections are Grossmith with perfumes made for English royalty or the beautiful bottles from House of Sillage made by French jewelers. Lovers of pure refinement fall in love with the French collections from Parfums de Marly or Brecourt.
The more curious perfumes include Peety from O'Driùal that once mixed with 10 drops of our own pee becomes a completely unique essence.
With the expansion of our perfumery we have initiated a calendar of events including talks withperfumers, presentations of new collections and workshops.
The location of perfumery is also the part of the city where many scenes from the film Perfume were recorded. In fact, in front of the gallery is Sant Felip Neri square, the setting for the scene of the first murder in the film. Many fans of the book compare the imaginary castle of the protagonist where he stores all the world´s smells with our display cabinets filled with cups with fragrance inside.
