You will be taken by coach to the Old Colony Inn circa 1815 that’s oozing antique memorabilia for a short break then on to the Salmon Ponds the oldest trout hatchery in the Southern Hemisphere circa 1861 where you can feed the Albino Trout, have lunch at the fully licensed restaurant Pancakes by the Pond or look through the Trout Fishing Museum, Redlands Estate circa 1819 are next door and are one of only two in the world to have a paddock to bottle single malt whiskey distillery, you can sample Tasmania’s finest whiskey while on a distillery tour, returning to New Norfolk at the licensed Patchwork Cafe in Historic Willow Court, Australia’s oldest and longest running asylum which predated Port Arthur (1825 – 2009).
This is an all day Cruise and bus tour departing Hobart at 9.30 am via a Ferry to New Norfolk returning to Hobart by 5 pm by Bus.
