We are located in the heart of the Somme battlefield of 1916 (The Great War) and visited the region for over 35 years before moving here in 2005.
Martin Pegler is a lifelong historian, academic and author and also a militaria specialist for the BBC TV's famous Antiques Roadshow. He has ridden bikes all his life and we are known as being motorcycle friendly with bike parking, a trailer in case of breakdown and workshop.
Martin is happy to share his deep knowledge of the Great War with guests and can suggest tours and routes to explore the region.
