A warm and friendly welcome, home-cooked award winning food, and spectacular views out west across the Sound of Sleat to the mountains of the Skye Cuillins, combines to create lasting memories.
Our guests include individuals, couples, families and small groups, and whether you're looking for a relaxing retreat or active pursuits you'll find plenty to do. The dining-room is open to non-residents and our visitors include those staying elsewhere on Knoydart and from passing yachts.
There is no road access to Doune. We collect you from, and return you to, Mallaig by boat. Because of our remote location, changeovers are limited to Saturdays and Tuesdays and we are only open between April and September.
