Whether you’re after a meandering horse trek or an adrenaline-filled quad bike adventure with some of the best views of the city, Adventure Playground Rotorua is the place to be when visiting New Zealand.

We cater for groups of two up to 30, and the team at Adventure Playground ensures safety is paramount with a training arena that everyone rides through before hitting the trails. Depending on your confidence and ability you can explore the working farm and native bush from the lower paddocks or travel right up to the very peak of Mount Ngongotaha, by quad bike or by horse, to take in stunning city and lake views.
Just as there are a variety of activities on offer, so too are there a variety of tour options, from a half hour taster through to a two-hour trek. Tours are suitable for all levels of ability from beginners to advanced riders.
All safety gear is provided for both quads and horse treks including helmets, wet weather gear when necessary, protective eye wear, gumboots and gloves. There are some age restrictions for the various tours.
Prices start from $75 for a half hour quad bike tour or $40 for a half hour horse trek. So what are you waiting for? We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
