The Lodge offers accommodation for visitors to the Morere Hot Springs from around New Zealand and all over the world. We are driven by a desire to give our guests a unique and genuine New Zealand experience and offer a moment of peace, relaxation and recovery in a busy world. We aim to treat as our personal guests as our personal guests.
On the property we have short or energetic walks, a glow-worm grotto, a river swimming hole for the family and lots of space to enjoy. Right next door is the Morere Hot Springs and Scenic Reserve offering public and private bathing in unique sea water hot springs surrounded by primeval lowland rain-forest. There is a choice of bush walks from a 10 minute stroll to 2 and 3 hour walks. Morere is 20 minutes away from the Mahia peninsula with its beaches, fishing and famous surf breaks.
The accommodation ranges from fresh new self-contained cabins to a 2 bed-roomed cottage and a 5 bed-roomed lodge - sleeps 12 - for big families or groups.
