Situated in close proximity to both ferry and flight terminals, restaurants, shops, water taxis and main attractions Kaka Retreat is an ideal "Island getaway” destination. Visiting Kakas, Tui, and Bellbirds make Kaka Retreat the peace lovers, bird watching, photographers’ paradise.
With only 7 units and nestled within a native bush garden setting our guests can unwind. Whether you are a couple, family or group willing to share facilities we can meet your accommodation requirements.
Our 2-3 bedroom cottages offer a mixture of Double and Twin Bedrooms which can sleep 4-6 persons comfortably. With central heating, open plan living and private covered veranda’s you have space to relax. Each cottage has basic cooking facilities, a microwave, fridge, TV and private bathroom.
Our Superior quality studio units can sleep 2-3 persons. Centrally heated with tea/coffee making facilities, convection microwave, comfortable deluxe Queen Beds and ensuite bathrooms you are well catered for.
All cottages and studio units are serviced daily with the exception of Christmas Day and New years Day. Boutique toiletries, towels, and linen provided for your convenience.
