Our South African born head chef, Kyle Jordaan recently moved to Bristol and joined the team in The Square Kitchen. He has since curated a classic menu encompassing ambitious and interesting flavour combinations. Amongst the new dishes is a goat's cheese mousse, salt baked beetroot, horseradish meringues and grapefruit; and saddle of rabbit, fondant potato, sweetcorn clams, flowers, carrot puree and rabbit jus. Wherever possible we aim to source local Bristol produce, using free-range organic Ruby & White meat, Brixham fish, The Arch House Deli and fresh baked home-made bread.
The restaurant is also home to a number of artworks in line with the venues changing art exhibitions; you can always expect to see some vibrant and eclectic pieces as you discover each space of the venue. An exposed brick wall backdrop stands central to the restaurant and creates an urban vibe, fitting to its Bristol city center location. The social seating arrangement encourages interaction with other diners, particularly popular in European restaurants. The Square Kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch & fine evening dining plus delicious Sunday Roasts.
