Werneth Low Golf Club is known locally as "The friendly club with stunning views" and after visiting we are sure that you will agree that this slogan is well justified.
Situated in the Gee Cross district of Hyde in the Greater Manchester area, on the edge of the Derbyshire Hills the course commands outstanding views of the Cheshire Plain, the Peak District National Park, the City of Manchester and of course, Kinder Scout and the Pennines.
This par 70 parkland course measures some 6,184 yards and offers some outstanding holes with breathtaking views. The course is an 11 hole course played as a hybrid 18. This has the great advantage that if you do not have time to play 18 holes or only have a couple of hours to spare the course lends itself to allowing you to play 7, 9,11 or 13 holes and you finish back at the clubhouse!
The 5th hole, is the most difficult on the course, playing deceptively long and requires an accurate drive, followed by a testing downhill approach shot, to avoid the hazards that surround the green.
Golfers of all abilities will enjoy our course.
