House by the beach - holiday rentals right by beaches in Gorran Haven, Portmellon, Caerhayes and Portloe.

We are a small local business letting and looking after houses by beaches in our own home area 5 miles along the beautiful Cornish south coast centred on Gorran Haven. All the houses are very close to the beach, most are in Gorran Haven. Portmellon beach is so close to a couple of the houses that you could throw your bathing costume onto the sand from the window.

The houses are all romance and family friendly. We welcome walkers, foodies, dolphin watchers, rock poolers, birders, catching up on sleepers, newly weds, unnewly weds, ancient mariners, novel writers, everyone. It is a friendly and enjoyable place. Also, it is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and lovely at all times of the year. Full of history and amazing geology.

All the houses are different: we have a place on the clifftop for just two (or two plus babe) or at the other end of the scale, we have space to put up a wedding party of 30. Recently we've been housing a film crew.

Our main and busiest time is in the Summer when there's swimming, kayaking and quay jumping to be done. In May, June and September, the non school holiday times, the weather is often at it's best and there's a a quieter mood. In Autumn and winter Cornwall is blowy and wild, we have houses with fireplaces...
