Famous around Cornwall for producing amazing artisan wines, ciders and juices, Polgoon is the perfect place to spend an afternoon taking part in a winemaker’s tour, tasting the products or browsing the onsite deli for a range of local produce. A family run business, Kim & John originally fish merchants decided to plant a Vineyard about 10 years ago, since then Polgoon has blossomed into a county known award winning Vineyard. Producing not only high quality wines, but award winning sparkling products, ciders and juices. The vineyard tours offer a great afternoon out, being about two hours long you will be shown the vineyard and orchard, be taken through some processes saving the best bit until last you finish with five tastings. Polgoon is not only a working vineyard but also hosts a farm shop and deli, supplying superb local products and a great place to shop for gifts and hampers.
