Swarthbeck farm offers you a choice of five holiday cottages on the banks of Ullswater in the heart of the lake district., sleeping up to 14. The five houses and cottages are all totally different, in stunning situations overlooking the lake. All ages provided for, active holidays and peaceful breaks alike with personal lake frontage. Suitable for large groups and family gatherings, all the cottages have full central heating and the use of boats and bikes. Dogs and pets welcome with direct access to open fell and miles of footpaths. All the cottages are within 3 m of the local village, shops and pubs with a hotel with bar and dining room only 1 mile away. We are also close to the world famous Sharrow Bay Hotel. It is a great place to explore the rest of the Lake District and the Scottish borders, Hadrian's wall and Yorkshire dales.
