Located in Alston in the North Pennines, a designated Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and UNESCO European Geopark. Orchard House is close to the town centre and just a couple of minutes walk from several excellent pubs, as well as the fantastic South Tynedale Railway. There are many walks and cycle routes nearby suitable for all abilities as well as the highest golf course in England. If you wanted to venture further afield, the Lake District, Hadrians Wall, Carlisle and Hexham are all approximately 45 minutes drive away. Newcastle can be reached in around an hour.
