You are sure of a warm welcome and our personal attention in what was the Vicorage for St John’s church. Our recent major refurbishment finished in March 14 has left us with 9 nicely apportioned, beautifully individually, Interior designed bedrooms in a wide range of styles and most have King or 4 poster bed, all have pressurised en-suite showers giving a generous supply of hot water and some with Spa or roll topped baths.
Other features include, open fire in the lounge, Free WIFI and NO SMOKING throughout the guesthouse, DVD TVs in all rooms, DVD library in the Lounge and in each room self regulating Radiators to control the heat in your room .
A Welcoming drink of a mini decanter of sherry (holding 4 sherry glasses) awaits you when you arrive with a refreshments tray of Tea or coffee with complementary toiletries in each bathroom with a hairdryer in its bag in the wardrobes.
In the mornings you are welcomed down by Barbara to our great British breakfast which was awarded a distinction by the AA inspector in March this Year, for the standard and quality of our food and service.
There are some excellent dining places in our area, some only 4 minutes walk from our front door with a larger selection in Bowness by Windermere Lake, or for that SPECIAL occasion we can book you into one of the many fine dining restaurants in the area. 5 of which have Michelin Stars.
There are many attractions in the Lake District National Park and all are accessable on google and we have a large selection of things to do brochures to keep you occupied during your stay at the Coppice..
