The village is served by a small supermarket, Post Office, newsagents, bakers and chip shop. Within a 4 to 5 mile radius there are numerous places to eat, from pubs to restaurants. You can enjoy walks from the doorstep and there is a direct hourly bus service to Castleton, Hathersage (rail), Hope (rail) & Sheffield (rail) stopping only 100m away.
Guests are provided with a complementary light self service breakfast; tea, coffee, milk, various cereals, bread/toast, butter, preserves and fruit juice.
Arrival from 1pm onwards, departure is by 11.30 so that you can enjoy a lie in.
The cost is £ 40 single occupancy (£35 two or more nights) or £70 per couple (£65 two or more nights)
Please note that the village has some quite steep and narrow roads, and your private entrance is at the top of a set of stone steps, with hand rails on both sides, this may not be suitable for the less mobile.
