A stylish family run establishment situated in the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel close to Dartmoor and the English Riviera; Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. It is also within easy reach of the historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes.

Stonecroft House is a newly built B&B in South Devon and allows guests to combine a relaxing break with exploring Devonshire and its quaint villages and attractions. The house boasts amazing views of the village, the Mill Pond and River Dart and the beautiful surrounding countryside. It is only 5 minutes stroll down to the Village centre, the Quay Side and more importantly...the village pub! This is where all the friendly locals meet and it’s a great place to get a taste of village life.

Stoke Gabriel known to locals as the ‘Jewel on the Dart’ is a beautiful and untouched Devonshire village dating back to Norman times. The village is very proud of its 1000 year old yew tree nestled in the Parish church yard which sits on the banks of the River Dart. Legend has it that if you walk backwards seven times around the yew tree's roots you will be granted a wish. Stoke Gabriel is famous for its mill pond and crab fishing. Fisherman originally came to the village to fish for salmon and gain access to the River Dart, although it's not only famous for its fishing but for its cider! The village orchard is recognised as one of the last remaining ancient apple orchards in southern Devon, and if visitors are lucky they may catch the annual village tradition of the wassail (a magical evening ceremony).

This Devon B&B is an ideal location for peace and quiet yet with easy access to major attractions. Greenway, home of the late crime writer Agatha Christie is nearby and is now run by the National Trust.
