Fun activity for all ages and for all the family. Specialising in Personalised Presents and Making Pop in and Paint Pottery for all ages, Hand & Foot Prints in clay, Lasting Impressions, and in paint on a variety of items. Potters Wheel Have-A-Go Sessions and Classes. Pottery Painting Sessions for Adults and Master Classes. Birthday Parties for Children Age 6+ and Parties for Adults and Families.
Admission to the Pottery Barn is free and to the Barleylands Site except for the Weekend of the Country Show in September. There is a huge car park adjacent to Barleylands Craft Village. We charge a session fee for Pottery Painting for those who paint which covers the paints used, glazing and firing of the item plus the price of the item painted. All items painted by yourselves are ready to collect within 7 days. Have-A-Go Potters Wheel is £6 a throw! 15-20 minutes one to one with a Potter on the Potters Wheel.
Our Lasting Impressions in Clay are available for baby's from birth and toddlers. The imprints are taken in soft clay and we dry and fire them before painting in your choice of colour and lettering. These are then glazed and ready to collect in 28 days. Hand & Foot prints in paint can be placed on a variety of items including mugs, teapots, vases and photo frames and personalised as you wish. We also do Ceramic Bauble with prints on - ideal for Christmas Presents for Nanny's and Aunties to adorn their trees.
Leisurely Lunches and Master Class Lunches available for those age 17+ as well as Evening Sessions. Our Lunches include a fresh lunch delivered by the café on site, tea/coffee and soft drinks. Have-A-Go Potters Wheel runs every Sunday and every weekday during school holidays. We do advise you book for a chance to throw a pot with one of our Potters. Everyone is guaranteed to make a pot!
