At the Golden Heart, we are committed to providing the best locally-sourced produce and we regularly support National and Local livestock shows and markets, where we buy prize-winning animals and carcases for or menu. We work closely with our local butcher to ensure the ultimate in traceability and reliability of our meats – he also provides us with handmade sausages from our meat and made to our own recipe!
Exotic meats have long been a feature of the Golden Heart’s extensive menu – whether you opt for the healthy option of a low-fat ostrich casserole or kangaroo steak or the more adventurous crocodile, zebra and camel.l.
