The New Forest Inn is a charming traditional country pub with 4 letting rooms. Along with this comes creaking floors and sloping ceilings and natures noises from the sleepy forest behind. All our rooms are a little bit quirky in their own way – but that is a part of the charm of staying in a country pub. Our rooms are all on the first floor and have 24 hour separate access, although most of our guests enjoy a substantial, delicious meal, a nice glass of wine or ale. They then amble up to bed in their after an enjoyable and relaxing evening.

We do offer discounts for stays of 3 nights or more – Please phone for details and availability.

We do not offer room service but we do have an amazing restaurant serving good home cooked food every day.

With direct forest access there are many enjoyable walks straight out from our front door –again, please ask any of our staff for details

Not only do with have rooms we are a pub as well.
Here we are very welcoming and genuinely care that you have an enjoyable visit – whether it is just for a lunchtime drink or a full evening of savouring dishes from our delicious menu. You will totally enjoy the relaxed ambience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Attentive service is complimented with local real ales, and having achieved the CAMRA certification you are assured of pure quality. Fine wines have been chosen to accompany the fresh food menu and are available by the glass, the carafe and of course the bottle!

There are two real log fires which are lit as soon as the cooler evenings approach, right the way through to the warmth of the spring sunshine. With three separate areas to choose to sit – there are areas for a cosy tete a tete, a family gathering and even a function area that seats over 40 for meetings, parties and celebrations.

The New Forest is also known for its entertainment events throughout the year, including its annual Beer & Cider Festival and has a very active facebook page which updates regularly the latest attractions.
