We provide a program of events and archery courses for schools and the local community, to encourage participation in healthy recreation and a greater understanding of ancient crafts from archery to storytelling with visitors experience first-hand how the people of the Celtic Iron Age, who lived over 2000 years ago, made food, clothes and shelter from the natural environment, whilst protecting natural habitats by harvesting in the traditional way.
We run events throughout the year including The Big Hunt (Easter), Beltane Festival (May Day), The Dragon Quest (Monday 25 to Friday 29 May 2015 (May Half-term)), Lugnasa (Monday 27 July to Friday 21 August 2015), Samhain (Mon 26 to Fri 30 October 2015) and Samhain Festival (Oct 31). At these events you will be able to find out how the Celts lived with Bushcraft Skills, Have A Go Archery and Pottery Workshops - and our Festivals add extra fun from creating May Queen Crowns through to carving your own pumpkin.
