Westbrook Lodge is a beautifull guest house, close to seafront, offering accommodation for 34 guests.
Our bedrooms are well-furnished and complete with tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and towels. We have a first class dinning room (with food to match!), a cosy, well-stocked nonalcoholic bar with surprisingly reasonable prices, a small library and free WI-FI internet. Hot snacks and drinks can be provided in the late evening if required and also a very tasty breakfast in the morning.
The guest house faces the sea, on a small cliff top, and the sandy beach can be reached by a gentle slope or a few steps. Between the guest house and the sea there is a public bowling green and two tennis courts. Westcliff Gardens is quiet and residential, though less than a mile from the bustle and bright lights of central Margate.

THE BEACH
Westbrook Bay – Blue Flag Beach
Sandy beach of approximately 200 meters with promenade. Designated water ski area with Strokes Adventure Golf, bowls and tennis nearby. Facilities include cafe, toilets, bay inspector/information, lifeguards, First Aid station, chalets and deckchairs for hire. Disabled access to the beach with unisex disabled toilets open weekend before Easter till end of September
WALKING
For those who like walking there is a cliff-top path to Westgate-on-Sea, or a seven mile promenade, extending from Birchington to Palm Bay. Thanet enjoys a good sunshine record and is among the driest areas in Britain
TRAVELING ABROAD
It is also conveniently located for day trips to France, by boat and ferries services to the Continent, is about 35 minutes by car. The bus service to all Thanet coastal towns and it passes the rear of the guest house.
VISITING KENT
Westbrook is also an ideal centre from wich to explore East Kent, including the historic cathedral city of Canterbury; Dover, with its harbour and Castle, Folkestone, Deal, Hythe and medieval Sandwich, plus a host of delightful villages, many in designated areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Winter Gardens is one of the biggest theatres and event venues in Kent. It hosts a wide variety of shows from Victoria Wood and Bernard Manning to line dancing and tea dances.
