Situated right at the heart of Lincoln itself on the cobbles of Steep Hill twice winner of Britain’s best street award. Step out of Well Cottage and you are within a minutes walking distance of all the fantastic attractions that historic Lincoln has to offer.
Whether you are a business visitor, consultant, couple on a romantic break, or a family looking for a holiday jam packed with culture or wedding guests needing somewhere local to stay then Well Cottage is for you. You could be walkers or ramblers or cyclists, here for the Santa run the Lincoln cycle race, or the awesome Christmas market. Attending the University’s open day or attending a graduation ceremony. The possibilities are endless.
Our cottage has the capacity to sleep 4 with two very well appointed double bedrooms and high quality additional beds can be added thus accommodating up to 6 people. Included in the no hidden extras price you pay you will have unlimited access to all of our facilities, which include all the kitchen appliances, washing machine fridge, oven, grill, kettle, microwave, etc. Other electrical appliances may be added to suit requirement, ie sandwich grill, blenders, juicers. Whatever your culinary heart desires.
Well cottage has two sofas in the living room and a fantastic bespoke gas fire for those cosy nights. Relax and watch TV or a DVD or listen to some music over a glass of chilled wine. The kitchen has a dining table seating for 6 people and also again for those warm cosy candlelight dinners you have a real fire place to enhance the mood of your dining experience. The backdoor in the kitchen unleashes another adventure. With outdoor furniture suitable for seating 6 people you have your own barbeque and chimnea. It’s a typical English country walled garden… heaven.
The upstairs comprises 2 double bedrooms and furniture for storage (please be aware that access all the way around the bed in bedroom 2 can be quite restricted), but the standard of the living space more than makes up for this). The bathroom has a jacuzzi bath, sink, toilet and wetroom shower.
Well cottage also has its own lock up garage to park your vehicle or you can keep your bikes at the back of the house using the side access. Knowing that your vehicle is safe is always an issue when away from home. Further parking can be found behind the house in the short/long stay car park, for any further vehicles.
