A trip to the capital is not complete without a visit to a traditional London pub and London's East End is home to some of the best around! Let us take you off the beaten track for an insider’s view of our vibrant and unique area whilst stopping off for a drink in some of our local pubs.
Like the Alternative London Walking Tour we'll discover the history, culture, creativity and street art of the Brick Lane and Spitalfields area, but with the added bonus of stopping off for a drink in some unique East End pubs along the way!
From historic pubs with original Victorian décor to modern re-established and recently reopened, independently owned pubs, we'll discover how these cornerstones of the community have suffered, endured and re-invented themselves over the years and bucked the trend of the U.K's pub closing crisis.
The tour also includes either a beer, cider or soft drink of your choice in each pub, alternatively a selection of beers can be chosen by your guide along the way to take you on a journey of beer throughout the ages, from traditional London ales to local, craft brewery lagers .
All in all a great tour for those wishing to get an insight into the lives of East Londoners past and present and for those wanting to take one of our walking tours and experience our local community first hand along the way.
This 2.5 hour tour with 4 pub stops starts every Thursday at 7p.m. and Saturday at 2p.m. or 3.30pm (depending on season) and is just £20 including 4 drinks. Book your place via the bookings section of the website. This tour is strictly over 18's.
