City Airport, is a business and general aviation airfield located within the City of Salford and just 5 Miles from Manchester City Centre with easy access to this and the surrounding North West region and attractions.
Around 120 aircraft are based at the airport, with in the region of 50,000 take offs and landings per year, flown by a variety of private and syndicate owners, students under training, business and commercial use.
The airfield is owned by the Manchester Ship Canal Developments Ltd, part of The Peel Group. Ambitions are for City Airport to be developed to it’s full potential and to grow the business of general aviation activities encouraging an increasing number of organisations and individuals to use the airport.
