Our award-winning visitor centre is open every day, all year except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, 10am – 5pm (10am – 4pm November to March). Our staff and volunteers are always on hand to help you. The café serves excellent coffee, cakes, snacks and lunches and has an outdoor seating area on the terrace with breath-taking views. The gift shop has an outstanding selection of books as well as crafts, gifts and pottery.
Our brand new education centre has been designed for visitors to discover and be inspired by wildlife through stunning films, touchscreens and displays. We have a varied programme of events for all ages and abilities, adult learning workshops and evening talks and performances. We also have an exhibition gallery were you can enjoy fantastic artwork – paintings, photography, textiles, printmaking and glass work – from local artists who take inspiration from the natural world.
