Situated in a glorious woodland meadow, deep in the heart of Cropton Forest, our 57 cabins at Cropton make an ideal base for adventures, exploring or simply relaxing. The forest itself is a paradise for nature lovers and thrill seekers alike.

Choose from a range of cabins sleeping from 2-6 people including the great value Copper Beech, to the Silver Birch with hot tub, or the luxurious Golden Oak cabins’ which include a hot tub, log burner, towels for all guests and robes and slippers in the master bedroom.

If you are escaping to the forest for romance, head for one of our brand new Golden Oak Hideaway cabins – unique for Yorkshire. Built exclusively for a couple’s holiday, offering luxurious and romantic accommodation, the cabin comes equipped with a double sunken bath with a view of the forest, a hammock on the deck and an incredible floor-to-ceiling forest view throughout the cabin's open spaces. Inside the cabin you will find various treats and surprises, but you will have to book in to find out what they are!

Also new to Cropton is a newly designed Forest Retreat, which provides a cafe, bar and a wonderful shop selling local produce. This welcoming building makes the perfect spot to have a coffee, glass of wine or a bite to eat whilst enjoying the sweeping views across the forest from the new extended outdoor decking area.

Activities at Cropton include bicycle hire, archery and guided walks with Forest Rangers plus the nearby Go Ape Tree Top Adventure at Dalby Forest.
