Set in the scenic beauty of the Severn valley Coalport station is one of England's most romantic secrets. Up until 1968 Coalport station was served by the line running from Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth. Further downriver some of that line remains in use as home to the Severn Valley Steam Railway. Coalport Station station however, is now a home, and host to two fabulous vintage carriages offering quite exceptional accommodation. The Old Station is in a charming, peaceful, rural setting where you can unwind in comfort, surrounded by beautiful woodland. We are situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site overlooking the River Severn at Coalport and located on the Severn Valley Way (cycle route 45) between Ironbridge and Bridgnorth.
