Warm, comfortable and spacious, Elmet is a great place for a family holiday or a gathering in a peaceful rural retreat. A substantial house with plenty of space, the farmhouse has a large living room with historic features, such as stone mullion windows and a huge carved stone fireplace with wood-burning stove. The well-equipped farmhouse kitchen has a big oak dining table and all mod cons, including dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Upstairs there are three lovely bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins) and two bathrooms, one with bath, both with showers.
The steep wooded valleys and heather moors around Hebden Bridge provide magnificent walking country. Haworth and Bronte Country are a stone's throw away, and the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park is close by. The handsome spa towns of Harrogate and Ilkley are within close range, along with the magnificent Saltaire village, a UNESCO World Heritage site.With unlimited WiFi, TV and DVD player, vintage games galore and lots of interesting books, there is also loads to do indoors.
