It's a small village with an interesting old church, and a fantastic pub, The Longs Arms, run by Rob and Liz who will always give you a friendly welcome and an outstanding meal. Rob makes everything fresh including his own bread and delicious chocolates. They have established an enviable reputation for excellence and are a "must visit"! Other local hostelries well worth sampling are the new Muddy Duck in nearby Monkton Farleigh, and The Fox in Broughton Gifford, a Free House renowned especially for its weekend lunches.
We are just three miles from the delightful old Market Town of Bradford on Avon, which is renowned for its antique shops, and four miles from the historic Georgian City of Bath, with its wonderful Abbey, the flourishing Theatre Royal, and the famous old Roman Baths.
