Ideally situated for visitors who wish to explore not only beautiful Islay but also Jura and Colonsay, the hotel has 11 comfortable en suite bedrooms, a Malt Whisky Bar, snug bar , a bistro style restaurant and a beer garden on the harbourside. The hotel also has a comfortable residents lounge where guests can relax.
Easy room access ( without stairs) is available from the rear of the hotel while all public areas have level access from the main front entrance.
The hotel gardens produce much of the salad and vegetables on the menu while the local fishermen provide the lobsters, scallops and other seafood for which we are famous - Port Askaig Seafood Platter is a must. Jura venison also features in season.
Tours of the 9 local malt whisky distilleries, booking taxis, bike hire and sea adventure trips can be organised through the hotel when booking accommodation.
