The hotel is open ALL YEAR with the exception of 1st/2nd January and we do not accept overnight guests on 24th/25th or 31st December.

Lairg is centrally located in the county of Sutherland making it the perfect base from which to tour the Northern Highlands. Other activities include golf, fishing, easy and more strenuous walking routes, bird watching, cycling on many routes including Lands End to John O'Groats and Kyle of Sutherland Mountain Bike Trails. For more energetic hill walkers many Munroes and Corbetts are within easy reach. Sutherland is home to Scotlands first National Geopark and also offers many the opprtunity to explore their ancestry, discover ancient landscapes, wildlife from birds to dolphins and rare plant life.
