Ruthven House is the ideal base for a multitude of outdoor activities including ski-ing at the Cairngorms, hillwalking, fishing, horse riding and cycling. Wildlife is in abundance, with eagles, buzzards, owls, woodpeckers, deer and pine martins all having been spotted in our grounds. We have some outstanding walks literally on our doorstep!! Fishing in this area is superb; We can arrange fishing permits for you at a cost of just £30 per week.
Bed and Breakfast is available in the main house and for those who prefer self catering, there are two Self Catering Cottages, Creag Dhubh, which sleeps two adults, and Creag Bheag which sleeps two adults and two children. Each cottage has patio doors leading out to a private seating area.
