Outside we have a south facing patio area (not enclosed) with garden furniture and space for barbecue to enjoy al fresco meals or simply relax with a good book.
The cottage is located in the heart of the village and has 2 double bedrooms (one upstairs), sitting/dining room, well-equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and lots of cooking utensils) and shower room. We have a large selection of books and games plus a TV with basic Sky channels and a CD player.
Great base for exploring the south west and only a short drive from some world-class golf courses, Culzean Castle, Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Dumfries House, the coast with some fine beaches and the historic town of Ayr.
The cottage is non-smoking, you are welcome to smoke outside though and we accept one well behaved pet.
