Nothing very much! Many of our Guests just enjoy simply doing nothing and fully enjoying the peace and tranquility of the Croft and its garden. Locally there is a great choice of Places To Eat.

Walking & Cycling National Cycle Route 7 passes through Lochearnhead giving traffic free cycling on the former railway track between Callander & Killin. Nearby Munros include include Stobinian, Ben More, Ben Lawes, Ben Vorlich, Ben Chabhair and Ben Challum. Easier walks can also be enjoyed from the Croft.

The Neighbourhood
Our starry skies make this a perfect location for 'Star Gazing' and you can't help but feel rejuvenated by breathing in our clear unspoiled country air. You will find a blanket in your room so that you can wrap up, sit outside and enjoy the stars at night.

Romantically remote but easily reached: Whilst we are located in Highland Perthshire we are only just over an hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth & Glencoe, making us a great base for Munro baggers.

Getting around
Car, train, bus, bicycles, walking even sea plane, are all a means of transport here in Loch Lomand and the Trossachs National Park.

Other Things to Note
Wester Auchraw Croft is the oldest Crucks framed house in Lochearnhead and it has been sympathetically renovated for a truly historic, authentic, highland experience.
