While on your underground adventure you’ll encounter secret deep blue lakes, lofty caverns, twisting tunnels and ancient mining machinery lying abandoned in the darkness.
This fascinating environment will inspire you to reflect on its origins and your trip leader has a wealth of information on the mining industry and its history and can show you ancient artefacts and old working practices.
Starting from our base at the Conwy Falls Cafe, you'll be kitted up with a harness, helmet, headlamp etc plus Wellington boots before heading off to the mine. You'll enjoy some stunning scenery on the walk up to the mine entrance before heading into the mysterious darkness...
You can join us all year round, whatever the weather! No experience is necessary, there's no potholing or squeezing through small gaps and activities can be bypassed if preferred. We welcome families, couples, individuals and groups. Stag/Hens, corporate and private events. Plus Military, Cadet, School and Scout groups too.
