The cottage is in the ideal central location for touring all parts of Wales. Whether you enjoy walking, birdwatching, sight-seeing, shooting, fishing, sailing, golf, cycling or simply relaxing... whatever your idea of a perfect holiday, you can be sure to be well catered for.

Red kites are frequent visitors to the skies above the cottage. The historic market town of Llanidloes, the first town on the Severn, lies just 2.5 miles to the east with its many inns and family pubs providing good food and a friendly atmosphere, interesting small shops and many places of interest to visit. It's a short drive to the Hafren Forest (where you can find the source of the Severn), or to the dramatic Llyn Clywedog. The seaside at Aberystwyth and Ynys-Hir nature reserve (featured on Springwatch) are about 45 minutes away.
