Nant-y-Bîg is the only campsite that is positioned close to beautiful Porth Ceiriad beach near Abersoch on the Llŷn Peninsula. It has the luxury of three separate camping areas: a low-density camping area with panoramic views of the beach, Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia; safe, family-friendly pitches with electric hookups near to the facilities (a 15 minute walk down to the beach) the third area is set in the valley just above Porth Ceiriad beach itself. To allow you to take full advantage of the areas breath-taking scenery, the Wales Coastal Path is directly accessible from two of these campgrounds.
Out of peak season, the campsite is a haven for wildlife, especially birdlife, the tranquil, southern-facing setting making for one of the most relaxing camping experiences anywhere, weather permitting. Nature-lovers will enjoy the quiet beauty of coastal walks or seaside fishing, flora and fauna or just escaping the daily grind.
