A skeleton of a lady was uncovered burried in a rare stone 'cist' grave dating back to the 13th century. Within the walls of the round walled historical graveyard lie the remains of sailors and captains.
On entering the Church you can experience the smells, sounds and atmosphere of a cabin on board a sailing ship. You can listen to oral historical stories told by local people. The modern exhibition is a lively multi-media experience. A place to visit time and time again.
