The annual Alley Loop is the highest-altitude Nordic skiing marathon in the U.S. and certainly the most exuberant. Crested Butte Nordic is located right in the heart of town and Crested Butte Mountain Resort is just three miles north. During the changing seasons make sure to catch Vinotok in the fall or Flaushink in the spring. Bottom line is, the people of Crested Butte have a joy for life... and it shows!

Named to the Top 12 Small-Town ArtPlaces in America in 2013, the town is host to the six-week Crested Butte Music Festival, free outdoor Alpenglow concerts, ArtWalk evenings, Crested Butte Arts Festival and so much more.
