We invite you to come to the bayou and experience for yourself the ride of your life in an airboat. You can take a lazy, leisurely ride or a more adventurous ride in the six passenger airboats. Our airboats can ride on the marsh or deep in the cypress swamp where most boats can not go. Or you can take a leisurely ride in a 15 passenger airboat (USCG approved) that can run the shallows at 40 to 45 MPH.
Our company, Airboat Tours by Arthur L. Matherne, Inc has been in business since 1994. We are located 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. Or we are about 1 hour and 20 minutes from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We are located in a small fishing village where time seems to stand still. We are minutes away from the airport, local restaurants, and nearby plantations.Your guides are USCG approved captains that have commercially fished alligators, crab, shrimp, and frogs.
