Immerse yourself in Louisiana culture at the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit at Audubon Zoo. See white alligators, nutria, cougars and Louisiana black bears. Marvel at the diverse sea life in North and South American oceans, rivers and the Gulf of Mexico. Sharks, stingrays, penguins and beautiful salt water fish in the Great Mayan Reef amaze our visitors of all ages.

Eat a bug, if you dare! Exotic cuisine tantalizes your taste buds and imagination at America's only free standing insect museum. Wonder at the beauty and diversity of butterflies in our Japanese themed Butterfly Garden. Learn about our fascinating local insects in the New Orleans Gallery and Louisiana Swamp exhibit, which include termites, roaches, flies and beetles.
